Day
2: Academic and Pool Training : |
|
| |

7:30am - Complimentary hotel transfer - available
from Cairns City & Northern Beaches accommodation
to the Dive Training Centre. Palm cove is the
outer limit for this free service

8:30am - Practical dive training in the pool
-
12:30pm - Visit the dive retail shop in Cairns
city
-
1:00pm - Lunch break (lunch not included)

2:00pm - Diving theory lessons in the classroom
and final exam
- 5:45pm - Complimentary hotel transfer service
available or transfer to Reef Teach Marine
Biology presentation (optional).

Reef Teach :
You are invited to Reef Teach,
which is a marine biology presentation held at
6:15pm the night before your trip departure. Reef
Teach is located at 14 Spence Street (off the corner
of Spence and Lake Streets). Unfortunately Reef
Teach doesn't operate on Sunday evenings, so if
you are travelling on the Monday departure you
either have the option to attend Reef Teach on
the Saturday evening prior to your trip or once
you get back from your trip.

Day
3: Diving The Outer Great Barrier Reef : |

5:45am - Complimentary hotel transfer - available
from Cairns City & Northern Beaches accommodation
to the Dive Training Centre. Palm cove is the
outer limit for this free service

6:15am - Check in at the dive retail shop in
the city.
-
7:00am - Depart for 3 days liveaboard diving
adventure. Full breakfast provided as you make
your way to the barrier reef.

11:30am
- Your first ocean training dive on the Great
barrier Reef. A brief introduction to a new
world and the commence the business of employing
skills learned in the pool.

12:45pm
- Lunch is served - hearty soup with an array
of fresh salads, cold meats and bread rolls
-
2:30pm
- Your second training dive using more advanced
techniques of buoyancy control.
-
6:00pm
- Evening meal is served - the menu is varied
for each trip. Meals are hot and nutitious
with large serves available for hungry divers.
After dinner relax and get to know everyone
over a cool drink.

Day
4 : More Great Diving : |
|
| |
-
7:00am - Third training dive followed by a hearty
breakfast - you will dive deeper than on previous
dives to employ all the skills that you have
learned so far.

8:00am - Enjoy a hearty breakfast of cereal,
fresh fruit, bacon and eggs as well as toast
and spreads
-
10:30am - Fourth and final training dive. By
now you will be very comfortable with the new
environment.

12:00pm - Lunch on the second day is hot pasta
with a variety of fresh salads
-
3:00pm - This is your first dive as a fully
qualified PADI Open water diver. Enjoy!!
-
6:00pm - The evening meal is served.
-
7:00pm - A guided night dive after dinner -
another great experience!

5 : More Diving And Return To Cairns : |
|
| |

6:30am - Your first dive of the day

7:30am - A hot breakfast accompanied with fresh
fruit salad, cereals and toast

9:00am - After breakfast, the vessel makes its
last site of the trip, where you will do your
second dive of the day
-
11:00am - Your last dive! When you surface freshly
made sandwiches are served as the vessel heads
home
-
4:00pm - Complimentary accommodation transfers
- Cairns city and Northern Beaches
- 7:30pm - Join fellow passengers and crew at
a local restaurant for a farewell dinner if you
wish.
