This, now famous, diving operation has been featured in National Geographic - now you can join their voyage of discovery! Undersea Explorer is one of Australia's most exciting live-aboard scuba diving operations, offering adventure diving expeditions with a marine research focus in the Coral Sea on Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Their expeditions encompass an incredible range of reef diving, adventure diving and marine research, creating new dive experiences with every voyage to the Coral Sea.

Visit remote Osprey Reef which offers 1000 mtr drop-offs, shark dives and pelagic action. The coral gardens of the Ribbon Reefs and the World Famous Cod Hole. The crew are there to assist those with less experience, and the adventure divers are not held back.

Far Northern Expeditions

Far Northern Expeditions are 8 or 9 days in duration and visit reefs 400 nautical miles north of Port Douglas. They incorporate a one way scenic flight to or from Lockhart River to rendezvous with the Undersea Explorer. This is a sample 9 day itinerary with departure from Cairns. The alternative itinerary departs Port Douglas on the vessel, with the scenic flight at the end of the expedition....
